Chapter 3 Signing Up
Signing up at Morph eXchange is free and easy. All you need are a few steps to get your free account.
There are two ways to get a login on Morph eXchange. One way is to be added as a user to an account owned by someone else. The other way is to create your own account or to create an account that you are managing for your company.
Follow the directions in this chapter to create an account that can be shared by you and your co-workers. This account is essentially the development platform for your company. We recommend that someone from your company be assigned as the Morph account administrator for your company. This person should Sign up and then add the rest of your company’s users to the account by following the steps in Chapter 7 Managing Users. All the users on the account can then be allowed access to the subscriptions that belong to the account. Access to each subscription can be controlled on a per user basis. How to do this is described in Chapter 6 Managing Subscriptions. A subscription is one of the following:
- Help Systems or documentation you are creating.
- Project plans for your projects.
An account can subscribe to as many subscriptions as needed. Users on the account can be granted access to the subscriptions they need.
From the Morph eXchange main page, follow these steps to sign up at Morph eXchange:
1. Click Sign up. You may also click the Sign up now for free button. The window displays:
2. Enter Username. The Username is used as one of your login credentials.
3. Enter Password. A Password must be at least 6 characters long and contain at least one non-letter character .
4. Retype your password in the Password Confirmation field.
5. Enter a valid Email address.
As part of the registration process an activation email is sent to the address you specify here. Therefore, it is important to enter a valid email address.
6. Type your Full Name.
7. Specify the Company name.
8. Enter your Street address.
9. Type in the name of the City.
10. Enter the State.
11. Type the corresponding Zip Code in the field provided.
12. Select your Country of origin from the drop-down list.
13. Tell us how you learned about Morph eXchange. Choose from the drop-down list.
14. Once you have read the Terms of Use, put a check mark on the corresponding check box.
15. You can optionally put a mark on the check box if you wish to receive the latest news and updates from Morph eXchange.
16. Type the CAPTCHA characters in the field provided. The characters are not case-sensitive.
17. Click Submit to confirm the registration.
18. Once you have submitted the form check your email for the activation message. Click the activation link. You will then be redirected to your Morph eXchange account.
If you have not received an email from Morph Labs, check your Junk and Spam folders before contacting us.
After you have created the account and logged in you can add users and subscriptions to the account. To learn how to do this, follow the directions in Chapter 7 Managing Users and Chapter 6 Managing Subscriptions.
