Chapter 11 Managing Settings

The Settings menu allows you to edit site information, select a theme, and upload your own site logo.

This menu is only available to Administrators.

Follow these steps to configure your help site settings:

1. In the menu bar, select the Settings menu. This displays:

2. You can set your site to be publicly or privately available. If you choose Private from the Visibility drop-down menu, only your viewers, authors, and editors can view your site. If you choose Public, everyone can view your site.

3. If you wish to display your content on the Featured Content Built with Morph helpME on the Morph eXchange Web site, click Publish.

4. Select a Category from the drop-down list that best suits your content. Your content will be made available on the Morph exchange Web site under the category selected.

5. To upgrade your subscription plan, click Upgrade. You will then be redirected to the Morph eXchange site. For more information, refer to Chapter 6.4 Upgrading your Subscription Plan of the Morph eXchange User Guide.

6. To modify the Help Site Name, enter the new name in the field provided. This only changes the title displayed in the browser.

7. To edit the Help Site email address, enter an email address in the field. This email address is used by Morph Labs to communicate to you about your site. This email address is not published to the public.

8. To enable comments and ratings for your help pages, check the appropriate check boxes.

9. Select a theme for your help site from the drop-down menu. A preview of the site theme is displayed directly below the selection box.

10. You may choose to upload your own help site logo to replace the Morph helpME logo.

11. You may choose in the drop-down menu whether you want to use the theme’s css or use your own css.

By default, Morph helpME provides several themes to select from. If you would prefer to customize or upload your own theme, please see Appendix A. Customizing Cascading Style Sheets. After you have customized your style sheets, you can come back to the Settings menu and select it as your theme.

12. Click the Save Configuration button to save your settings.
