Chapter 7 Using Tags
Tags refer to labels or keywords that you add to a help page. When you create new pages, you should add tags to help group similar content and make it easier for your end-user to find information. The end-user can search on tags or click on the tag for any given page to see related content or more details on certain topics.
By default, Morph helpME added common tags that can help you get started. Some of the tags include podcast, screenshot, Internet, and so forth.
When you create a tag on Tags > Create New, you can just enter any text in the box. These tags will then be saved. You can associate your tags with content on Help Pages > Create New.
Help Pages > Create New is explained in Section 5.1 Creating Help Pages. Briefly from the Help Pages menu, once you create content, you can enter tags by doing any of the following:
- Select and enter tags which were added using the Tags menu (once you type a letter, the saved tags are displayed on a drop-down list).
- You can also automatically create new tags by entering any text in the Tags field.
