Chapter 4 Using Morph helpME
Once you have launched a particular subscription, the window displays the Main Page. This page is the control center for managing a specific help system. The menus located near the top of the screen allow you to navigate between the different features of Morph helpME.
The Main Page displays the following menus:
- Pages – This permits you to create a new page or edit existing pages.
- Comments – This allows you to view and delete comments left by end-users.
- Tags – This allows you to create or delete tags that help to categorize help pages and content.
- Resources – This allows you to create easy-to-remember pointers to files you have stored using the Files menu, or external references or URLs to mash-able content that lives elsewhere on the Internet.
- Files – This allows you to upload files, such as videos and images that can be used in your help pages.
- Users – This allows you to view other users on your specific help system.
- Settings – This allows you to set the parameters and modify the look and feel of your Morph helpME account.
The Settings menu is only available to Administrators. Refer to Chapter 10 Managing Users for more information.
- Preview Site – This allows you to immediately view the help file created.
You can search any topic automatically by using the Search/Filter feature. To learn more about the Search/Filter feature, refer to this Section 4.2 Using Search and Filter.
To use the Create New button, refer to Section 5.1 Creating Help Pages .
The rest of the details for the Help Pages screen will be discussed in Chapter 5 Using Pages . The other menu items, Resources, Tags, Files, and so forth, are discussed in later chapters.
